GetIcelandic.com used to receive tons of emails every single day. Unfortunately, the vast majority of it was spam. After considering all options to reduce spam, it was decided to require specific and exact email subjects in order for emails not to be automatically discarded. Did (or will) this stop all spam emails? No. However, by requiring the senders to use the exact subjects listed below, the spam volume has greatly decreased.
